NHL Predictions 10/20

Season Record (Winning Teams): 32-22

Season Record (Full Predictions) : 2-52

Ok, after a bit of a hiatus, I am back and ready to hit this in full stride. A light schedule tonight means a light predictions set, however, do not be fooled. Tonight is the night I start things to make my records look a lot better. Also, big note at the end of these predictions!

St. Louis at Pittsburgh 7PM

The Penguins are off to a start that they have not had in years, while the Blues are still attempting to find consistency. With one of the best offenses (especially with secondary scoring stepping up for the Penguins), the Blues will have a tough task ahead of them on the road this evening. If I were a betting man, Ty Conklin would be getting the nod between the pipes for the Blues, and Fleury for the Pens. It should be a good game, and most likely the game of the night.

Final - Penguins 4 Blues 2

Atlanta at Montreal 7:30 PM

Montreal is a team with a lot of questions being presented due to two huge injuries that happened early this season. Coach Lemaire has his hands full tonight, with a surprisingly hot Atlanta team. Hopefully, for the Habs, tonight is the night of turnarounds. The Bell Center will be rocking tonight either way, that is a certain.

Final - Habs 3 Thrashers 2

Columbus at Calgary 9:30 PM

Another set of surprising teams face off tonight in Alberta as the Flames play host to the hot Columbus Blue Jackets. Hitchcock has his system in place in Columbus, and the defensive factor along with Steve Mason has been the key to the early success of the club. Tonight, they hope to continue their winnings ways against a Flames team that is still searching for it's true identity. If Columbus can find it's offense, and utilize it was well as they do their defensive game, it could be a very fun season for the Jackets and their fans.

Final - Blue Jackets 5 Flames 3
