NHL Predictions 10/27

Season Record (Winning Teams): 52-38

Season Record (Full Predictions) : 3-87

Missed yesterday's light schedule, but went 9 (W) and 6 (L) with predicting the Kings game DEAD ON on Saturday night. Let's jump into tonight: (focus on Crystal ball)

Phoenix at New York Rangers 7PM

The Rangers need a bounce back game like Britney Spears needs more exposure. The losses to the Habs and Sharks have taken a bite out of the once hot Rangers. The Coyotes, who started the season with some fantastic play, have lost their most recent game to the Kings and are now 6-3 on the season, but still can not be counted out as they are playing inspired hockey under new coach Dave Tippett.Lundqvist is for sure in net, and he needs to wake up after the Habs game fall-out.

Final - Rangers 3 Coyotes 1

New York Islanders at Montreal 7:30 PM

The Canadiens have found some scoring touch lately, and tonight when they play host to the New York Islanders, can find themselve in 8th place in the East and extend their winning streak to four games. The Islanders will have a lot of "growing pains" this season as being one of the youngest teams in the league. This game should have the top line flying for the Habs, and it should be a one sided affair. If I am wrong, I'll be left scratching my head, along with many Habs fans. Question - why start Halak again?

Final - Habs 3 Islanders 2

Minnesota at Chicago 8 PM

Has the goaltending controversey in the windy city started to calm down? Cristobal Huet had a strong performance in net against Nashville Saturday night, but that's a team that has offensive troubles. Tonight, when the Blackhawks come to town, they play a Minnesota team that has an identity crisis. All I can say for sure is.....

Final - Wild 4 Hawks 3 F/SO

Toronto at Anaheim 10 PM

The Leafs, still searching for their first win, will be in Anaheim tonight to play the Ducks who, at best, are starting the season as a very mediocre club.
enjoy the night all! The "Monster" (Jonas Gustavsson) is back, and getting the nod tonight for the Leafs as Jonas Hiller will go for the Ducks. This should be a fun one, as the Leafs have been playing better as of late, but still can't find the back of the net to warrant a "W".

Final - Ducks 3 Leafs 2 F/OT

enjoy the night
