NHL Predictions 10/7

Season Record (Winning Teams): 20-11

Season Record (Full Predictions) : 2-29

Last night, all but the Leafs had me wondering why I didn't call Vegas and place some straight bets. Tonight is a light night on the schedule, so this should be interesting as the light nights always kill me.

Phoenix at Pittsburgh 7:30 PM

The desert dogs head to steel city tonight to do battle with the defending champs. In what one would think is going to be an absolute lopsided affair, don't get too ahead of yourselves. I doubt the 'Yotes grab the win on the road, especially against Pittsburgh, but I'm sure they will put up a good fight.

Final - Penguins 4 Coyotes 1

Montreal at Vancouver 10:00 PM

Carey Price will finally get to play an NHL game in his hometown. With the start the Canucks have had, I wonder if the crowd will be Pro-Price and Pro-Habs? It is an interesting contest for sure this evening. The Habs secondary scoring showed up last night, but it needs to be more consistent. The Canucks need to tighten up the d-units and need Luongo to shake off the rust. In what I think is an all said and done Habs victory, it will probably all rest on the shoulders of Roberto Luongo (or he vs Carey Price).

Final - Habs 3 Canucks 2 F/SO

On a side note, for those of you seriously hockey crazed individuals like myself, my website produces a weekly podcast.
