Injury Update: Bruins Cautiously Optimistic

This morning, GM Peter Chiarelli met with reporters to discuss the injuries currently plaguing the Bruins.

He announced that center David Krejci suffered a moderate concussion with some headaches and amnesia. Krejci will be reevaluated tomorrow and will have another baseline test at the end of the week.

In the meantime, look for Patrice Bergeron to center the top line between Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton. Blake Wheeler will move to center the middle line between Jordan Caron and Mark Recchi, where he played during training camp. Daniel Paille will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the last ten games. Here's what the lines will look like:

Lucic-Bergeron-Horton
Caron-Wheeler-Recchi
Paille-Seguin-Ryder
Marchand-Campbell-Thornton

Chiarelli was also optimistic about Marco Sturm and Marc Savard. The Bruins are hoping that Sturm will be ready sometime during the first 7-10 days of December. Savard has been feeling better and has been skating, so hopefully he’ll be able to return to practice shortly.

Bad news about Krejci. Hope it isn't too serious.

If I'm a center and play for the Bruins, I keep my god damn head up during games. /Savard'd /Krejci'd
