I'm Back, after about a week and half away from blogging.

I will finish off "The Future" segment tomorrow and will also get started on the "Player-A-Day" feature. Due to my short "vacation" that will cut into the season, which is perfectly fine by me.

The Leafs lost last night 3-1 to the Buffalo Sabres, pushing their pre-season record to a 2-2-1 record. Although last night the Leafs mainly had a "Cut Lineup" as I like to call it. This cut lineup gives players that are likely to get cut another chance to show Burke and company they deserve to last past the next set of cuts at least.

Talking about cuts, the Maple Leafs are expected to cut about 25ish players today. Looking to get down to 26-28 players from the 52 they currently have.

Nazem Kadri, Luca Caputi, Greg McKegg, Keith Aulie, and Brayden Irwin I suspect won't be cut, as they have either in McKegg's case been impressive or are first in line for call-ups/roster spots.

The next four games will be the pre-season games worth watching, these will give us a better indication on how the Leafs will do this season.

The Leafs have four games remaining in the pre-season. They will play Buffalo tomorrow, in Ottawa Wednesday, and will play a home and home with the Red Wings Friday and Saturday.

So I will get back to blogging tomorrow by doing a wrap up on "The Future" and my first player-a-day segment.
