Game Day: Phoenix Coyotes @ Anaheim Ducks

After having enjoyed more overall success in earlier weeks, the Phoenix Coyotes are struggling to find consistency and have split their last ten games, which includes a monster stretch of four games in six nights. They face Anaheim for already the third time this season, having had the upper hand in both meetings so far with wins of 5-4 and 4-2, exactly one month apart.

The Ducks, like the Coyotes, have dropped their last two games.  Their division is in the midst of an overhaul, with only Phoenix's Dave Tippett and San Jose's Todd McLellan having coached full seasons with their respective clubs last year. Bruce Boudreau has a .666 winning-percentage all time and is 1-3-1 since joining the Ducks.

Quick Hits: Coyotes
Lauri Korpikoski, who had two points on October 23rd against Anaheim, was the lone goal-scorer in Phoenix's last game against Minnesota and recorded four shots on goal.
Keith Yandle, who had the most shots in that game with 5, played over 27 minutes (and there was no overtime)!
Radim Vrbata's game-winner on November 23rd against the Ducks was one of his 14 goals this season (five behind league-leader Milan Michalek). Still tied with Ray Whitney in points (25), the two were the most-used forwards against Minnesota with just over 20 minutes played each.

Quick Hits: Ducks
♦ Ryan Getzlaf leads the Ducks in the season series against the Coyotes, with two goals and an assist in two games.
Teemu Selanne, who has a 6-game point streak, has exactly one point per game played against the Coyotes (73).
♦ Fellow Finn Saku Koivu has three goals and six assists in his last stretch of ten (he sat out the last Ducks' game with an injury).
♦ Corey Perry has points in 10 of his last 12 games, including six goals. Seven of his goals have come on the man-advantage, a category he currently leads league-wide.
