#5 Jarome Iginla, RW, Cal. – 319 goals in the last nine seasons. Does everything right.
#6 Pavel Datsyuk, C, Det. – Mr. Consistant – the last four years – 87, 87, 97, 97 points.. What’s next?
#7 Ilya Kovalchuk, LW, Atl. – Only 14 goals less than Iginla in two-full fewer seasons. And with what Centers?
#8 Roberto Luongo, G, Van – Best goalie in the NHL right now.
#9 Martin Brodeur, G, NJ – Best goalie in the NHL ever?
#10 Mike Green, D, Was. – Is scary from the blue-line. No one like him, 40 goals a reality.

#13 Henrik Zetterberg, C/W, Det. – No Hossa in Detroit, here comes 40+ goals.
#15 Evgeni Nabakov, G, SJ – Workhorse with tons of wins, always below 2.50 G.A.A.

#16 Vincent Lecavalier, C, TB – Can’t go wrong with No. 4 – now a great top-6 in TB.
#17 Rick Nash, LW, CBJ. – In the top five raw goal-scorers in the league.
#18 Corey Perry, W, Ana. – PIM’s bump him up, great goal-scorer.
#19 Marian Gaborik, W, NYR – If healthy. That’s a big if.
#20 Zach Parise, C/W, NJ – Can he add on to his breakout season? Amazing skill-set.
#21 Niklas Backstrom, G, Min. – No hole in his game. Other goalies have just done it for longer.
#22 Alexander Semin, W, Was. – Which Alex is going to show up? Ridiculous shot, too inconsistent.
#22 Nicklas Backstom, C, Was. – Centering the best player in hockey and Semin. 66 assists last year could jump up by 10-15.
#23 Nik Lidstrom, D, Det. – Was just voted as NHL player of the decade by The Hockey News, what’s not to like?
#24 Marc Savard, C, Bos. – Passing skills is on par with Thornton, will top 60+ helpers again.
#25 Henrik Lundqvist, G, NYR. – Could play 70 games this year? Back-bone on Broadway. Defensive personnel may hurt him
#26 Eric Staal, C, Car. – Pure playmaker, defenders give him space and he takes advantage.
#27 Dion Phaneuf, D, Cal. – No defensemen got the puck to the net more than Dion. Five category player.
# 28 Patrick Kane, RW, Chi. – Will put up nasty numbers in Chi-town. Got change?
#29 Dan Boyle, D, SJ – Will benefit greatly from Heatley and Thornton.
#30 Jason Spezza, C, Ott. – Great center, will put up solid numbers despite the Heatley departure.
#31 Zdeno Chara, D, Bos. – You know he won the Norris’ right?
#32 Martin St. Louis, RW, TB – Will work well with Stamkos. Always a solid pick.
#33 Mike Richards, C, Phi. – Mr. Do-It-All. Is a threat all over the ice, end-to-end.
#34 Jeff Carter, C, Phi. – Could score 50+ goals.
#35 Marian Hossa, RW, Chi. - Line combinations could be scary. If he was healthy to start the season (shoulder) he’d be a top 20 guy.
#36 Simon Gagne, LW, Phi. – Can be 40/40 guy if he stays healthy, which is unlikely.
#37 Ryan Miller, G, Buf. – Will carry Buffalo, is great across the board.
#38 Daniel Sedin, LW, Van. – Everything is gravy in Vancouver.
#39 Cam Ward, G, Car. – For some reason he flies under the radar.
#40 Michael Cammalleri, LW, Mon. – Awesome chemistry amongst the smurfs. Great PP producer.
#41 Marc-Andre Fluery, G, Pit. – Wins, wins, wins. One of the most athletic, flexible goalies out there.
#42 Tomas Vanek, LW, Buf. – Underrated pure sniper…Maybe not worth $7 a year, but still, underrated.
#43 Chris Pronger, D, Phi – 60 points is not out of the question. Will be a beast on the power-play.
#44 Steve Mason, G, Col. – How will the sophomore encore from one of the best rookie campaigns ever?
#45 Jonathon Toews, C, Chi. – Could lead the Blackhawks in points. Take a look at the Chicago roster.
#46 Devin Setoguchi, RW, SJ – He’s playing with Thornton and Heatley. Huge upside.
#47 Sheldon Souray, D, Edm. – Poor man’s Dion Phaneuf. Goals, shots and PIMs.
#48. Derek Roy, C, Buf. – Top-line center in Buffalo. Very underrated line of Vanek-Roy-Pominville.
#49. Bobby Ryan, W, Ana. – Best line in hockey? Bobby Ryan has arrived.
#50 Johan Franzen, C/W, Det. – Depending on line situation, could gain or lose up to 10 spots.
