List of 2010-11 NHL Home Openers

The full schedule for the 2010-11 regular season will be announced later today, but the NHL has already made available the dates for the home openers of all 30 teams.

As we already know, the season will officially kick off with the annual Montreal-Toronto game at the Air Canada Center on Thursday, October 7th. The NHL's opening night will also see three other matches, including the Avalanche hosting the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks, a battle of Alberta in Edmonton vs. Calgary, and a battle of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia.

The Carolina Hurricanes will have the latest home opener on October 27th versus the Washington Capitals, but of course, they start their season in Finland against Minnesota.
