Blackhawks host the Jets Wednesday night at the United Center
After being the Winnipeg Jets 5-1 on their home turf last week, the Blackhawks (9-2-4/2nd in Central) host the Jets (6-8-2/7th in Western wild card) to the United Center.
The Jets are coming off a solid 4-2 win versus Detroit on Monday night; it may have been their best game of the year, including 47 SOG. Chicago native Al Montoya was in net for Winnipeg for that game; it would make sense to see him in net again on Wednesday.
Evander Kane (lower body) will travel with the team, but he is still listed as "day-to-day".
Sunday, the Blackhawks took a loss to the Calgary Flames at the UC, and then headed to Washington, D.C., to be honored at the White House for their Stanley Cup victory, and to meet veterans at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
The Blackhawks have let a few points get away from them; the game versus Calgary being an example of that. Reto Berra made his NHL debut in goal, and gave the Flames the OT win.
Chicago will need to find their form once again, especially as they gear up for their two-week "circus trip" starting on November 18th, which will take them to Colorado, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Dallas, and Phoenix.
Injury report: For Chicago: Brad Mills (lower body/day-to-day); Michal Handzus (upper body/IR), Michael Kostka (lower body/IR); for Winnipeg: Jim Slater (undisclosed), Jacob Trouba (upper body), Paul Postma (blood clot/IR), Mark Stuart (hip/IR).
Where to watch: In Chicago, CSN-CH+; in Canada, TSN
Location: United Center, 1901 W. Madison, Chicago
Time: 7pm CST
