Game Day : Habs @ Jets

Going to have to keep this one short and sweet.

Habs vs Jets tonight in Winnipeg.

While the Habs should be able to use the win against the Jets from earlier in the season as some fuel, they won't.  The Habs have crumbled as a team this year and the light at the end of the tunnel is nowhere to be found.  Despite the firing of both their assistant coach and their head coach and appointing a brand new head, nothing is working.

The Jets may not be the a top team in the NHL but they have done a few things right this season.  Despite a slow start and lack of production from their top six players, the Jets somehow found a way to dig their way out of their slump.  30 games into the season, the Jets top six has turned itself around and are now producing at a decent pace.  Forwards Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler, Kyle Wellwood, Evander Kane and Bryan Little can all be held responsible for this.  Perhaps the Habs should spend an extra day in Winnipeg tomorrow and get some pointers.

Goaltenders Carey Price and Ondrej Pavelec should get to call in nets tonight.  Despite a few jabs to Carey in the media, you can expect to see the Habs star goaltender continue his amazing play.  Hearing things like "can't steal a win" disgusts me as a Habs fan and brings all too much shame to me as a Montrealer.  I can only wonder what's next to come out of people's mouths.

Game starts at 8:30pm and is unfortunately only available on RDS.  If you are lucky enough to subscribe to Bell TV you can catch it on TSN-HABSHD.

Good Game!
