Game Day : Sens @ Habs

The red hot Ottawa Senators are in Montreal tonight to take on the Habs in what will the first game in the post-Michael Cammalleri era for the Habs.  While some are saying this deal was a bit rushed and didn't yield Cammalleri's true worth, I think it may have been the single best deal Pierre Gauthier has gotten done since taking over as GM.

This will mark the 3rd time these two teams have met this season, and despite the opposite type of season these teams are having, the Habs were successful in the first two meetings.  I'm not convinced tonight will be the same seeing as the Sens are coming off a huge shutout win against the league leading New York Rangers, earlier in the week.

Jason Spezza has been the one to watch this season in O-Town, he's got 5 points in his last three games.  Let's not forget about young blueliner, Erik Karlsson who's got 8 points in his last 5.  As for the Habs, Erik Cole has continued to be the best Hab on the ice with 7 points in his last 7 games.  His linemate, David Desharnais is also finding success this year and currently has 6 points in his last 6 games.

Injuries are status-quo for the Habs, the newest being Brian Gionta who suffered a bicep injury that will most likely end his season.  The Sens are playing without Peter Regin,  and Jesse Winchester.

Game time is at 7:00pm and it being aired on CBC and RDS!

Good Riddance Cammallazy!

Welcome back buddy!

FYI, Bourque only starts tomorrow as he's still serving a suspension. I wouldn't expect much from the Habs tonight.
