Flyers Sign Samuel Morin to Entry-Level Contract

The Flyers have signed 2013 first round pick defenseman Samuel Morin to an NHL entry-level contract, per the team.

Morin was signed to a three-year, $4.275 million contract Tuesday afternoon. Morin, 18, was selected 11th overall by the Flyers.

Morin had been dressing with the Flyers in their first two preseason games so far. He logged 25 minutes, 14 seconds of ice time in last night's 4-3 win over the Capitals, registering one assist and was paired with veteran free agent Mark Streit.

Morin is expected to play tonight against the Rangers. He will most likely play in the juniors to start the season.
