Lecavalier Day-to-Day With Back Spasms

Flyers center Vincent Lecavalier will not be in the lineup tonight for the Flyers.

General manager Paul Holmgren said that Lecavalier was experiencing back spasms and will not play against the Minnesota Wild tonight. Holmgren did express hope in Lecavalier being able to play in Detroit on Wednesday.

Lecavalier has a team-high nine goals in 22 games this season. He plays on the second line with Brayden Schenn (seven goals, eight assists) and Wayne Simmonds (five goals, seven assists).

Michael Raffl will move to left wing on the second line and Schenn will move to center. That will put Jay Rosehill back in the lineup on the fourth line in order to keep the third line intact.

The Flyers are in the middle of a six-game road trip. They won, 3-2, in a shootout over the Nashville Predators on Saturday.
