Flyers Sign G Yann Danis

The Flyers have announced that 32-year-old goaltender Yann Danis has agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the club. Financial details were not disclosed at the time of signing.

Danis will likely start the season with the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL since according to Flyers' insider Anthony SanFilippo, prospect Anthony Stolarz will return to juniors. Additionally, Danis only played four games in the NHL over the last two seasons.

He most recently played for the Edmonton Oilers and its minor league club in Oklahoma City. In 47 games last season, he played well for the OKC Barons by winning 26 games.

Danis also played for the New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and the Montreal Canadiens during the course of his career. He also played one season with Khabarovsk Amur of the KHL in 2010.

In his NHL career, Danis has a 17-21-4 record, a 2.75 GAA, and a save percentage of .910.
