While the Stars suffered an embarrassing 8-1 defeat to the Blackhawks during their last meeting, 2 points from tonight’s matchup could be a big difference in whether or not the Stars make a playoff appearance this season.

Even after some big changes to their roster, Dallas has still managed to stay in the playoff race and win their last five games against a tough group of opponents.

After a very physical game on Sunday against the St. Louis Blues, the Blackhawks have to be ready and rested for the home matchup tonight against these hungry Stars.

Who’s Hot:

Bryan Bickell has 3 goals and 1 assist in his last five games, with the game winning goal last night in St. Louis for the Hawks.  Captain Jonathan Toews is tied for the lead with Patrick Kane in goals at 20. Toews left Sunday’s game briefly after a bad hit by Backes, but returned to the ice to finish the game.

Injury Report:

Patrick Sharp sat out Sunday with an upper body injury and is questionable for Monday.  Kari Lehtonen and Lane MacDermid are out for Dallas.
