Leafs vs Flyers Fake Game Part 2

After yesterdays over hyped sibling rivalry storyline, the Leafs and Flyers ironically will meet again tonight in the city of brotherly love. The Leafs will attempt to have a better effort against the Flyers in their third game in three nights.

Reading the newspapers and listening to sports radio in Toronto today, you realize how the MSM thrives off of a Leafs loss. Yes the Leafs first line struggled last night, but in regards to the first line patience is required in the big smoke. These three players will need time to develop some familiarity and chemistry together. Hold on, isn’t that what the preseason is for?

Kulemin – Bozak – Armstrong

Boyce – Colborne – Hamilton

Caputi – Dupuis – Rosehill

Frattin – McKegg – D’Amigo

Gunnarsson – Schenn

Gardiner – Komisarek

Lineup unavailable at time of posting. David Alter reporting that Ilya Bryzgalov and Brayden Schenn will play. Also that Jaromir Jagr will not dress.

Players to Watch

Leafs: Jonas Gustavsson – “The Monster” looked horrible on Monday. He was unable to follow the play, and was consistently out of position. This was a significant are in which he struggled last season. Gustavsson needs to demonstrate that he can stay quiet and composed in the net.

Flyers: Ilya Bryzgalov – The Flyers new “savior” makes his debut on home ice tonight. Signed to a big deal in the offseason, Bryzgalov be entrusted with providing the Flyers with elite goaltending. Something they’ve lacked for a long time.

Game time - 7:00 PM at the Wells Fargo Centre. TV – SNET ONT. Radio - AM 640.
