He's Back!!!!

Peter the Great makes his return tonight for the struggling Avs

Peter Forsberg makes his comeback tonight in ohio
Well it is official, reports here in Denver have confirmed Forsberg will make his return tonight in Columbus skating on a line with Duchene and Hejduk. Forsberg seemed quite nervous in interviews this morning and has said he just wants to get it done with and get back on the ice. Duchene seemed very excited when interviewed as well saying he hopes Forsberg can feed him for some goals tonight. Another interesting part of the interview with Forsberg was talking about his physical play on the ice. He said he may not be the same physical player, however he did once you get on the ice you want to hit people. So all eyes will be on Ohio tonight in order to see if this comeback is for reals or not?

Injuries continue to kill this team
Announced yesterday by the team, but both Kyle Cumiskey and T.J. Galiardi are out for tonights game, both with what look to be recurring injuries. Cumiskey is listed with a head injury, which is very bad news if it's a concussion as he has missed most of the season already with the same problem. As for Galiardi, he injured the same wrist he broke towards the beginning of the season. Both players are out and defensemen Jonas Holos was recalled for the game. For me this is somewhat good news because Holos has played so well, and the defense needs the help.

Anderson has left for personal reasons
Reports out of Denver are the Craig Anderson has returned to Denver for personal reasons and nothing has been released as to what is causing the problems. Potentially this could give a reason for Anderson's terrible play this season and hopefully he can figure things out. It will be interesting to see if anyone finds out what is going on with him. As a result of him leaving, John Grahame has been recalled and Peter Budaj will start tonight. I am hoping Grahame gets the start tomorrow to see if he can live up to his player of the Month for the AHL.

Players to watch for
This one is easy with Forsberg making a return. We will see if the new foot brace works for Forsberg and he can make a difference. I don't even care if he can only skate on one foot tonight, this team needs something and I think Forsberg can be that guy.
