The New York Rangers (26-16-3) defeated the Vancouver Canucks (28-9-6) by the score of 1-0 in hockey action on Thursday night.
Keeper Henrik Lundqvist was named to the first star of the night making 31 saves. For the Rangers netminder it would be his sixth shutout this season while being the 30th time he was able to blank a team in his career.
