Flyers Send Andrej Meszaros to Boston

The Flyers have dealt defenseman Andrej Meszaros to the Boston Bruins for a conditional pick on Wednesday.

The conditions of the pick won't be revealed until later tonight when Meszaros has a conference call with the NHL. The conditions are in the Flyers favor, and could either be a better pick or more than one.

Meszaros, 28, has five goals and 12 assists in 38 games this season. He also played for his home country Slovakia in the Olympic games during February.

Flyers Acquire Andrew MacDonald From Islanders

The Philadelphia Flyers have made their first move of the trade deadline.

The Flyers acquired Andrew MacDonald from the New York Islanders for a pair of draft picks and an AHL player. The picks are a 2014 third round pick and a 2015 second-rounder to go with minor leaguer Matt Mangene.
