Game Preview: Flames vs Vancouver Canucks

The Flames and Canucks renew their rivalry tonight in the last of five meetings between the clubs. So far the Canucks have had the Flames number winning three of the first four games, including a 5-2 victory at Rogers Arena on Saturday night.

Wings Offense Ruins Canucks Night with a High Scoring Win

The Detroit Red Wings were flying high after tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks. Vancouver is one of the top ten teams in the league. Even after the beautiful shutout Jimmy had on Saturday night, the game was still expected to be a nail biter. However, our writer, Brad’s hopefulness about Saturday’s game being a portent of things to come was proven in tonight’s high scoring game. The Detroit Red Wings painfully beat the Canucks.

Game Day: Habs vs. Canucks

The Montreal Canadiens will look to bounce back from a slightly embarrassing 3-2 shootout loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday evening, as they prepare to face the Vancouver Canucks at the Bell Centre.

Logic would dictate that the Habs will be looking at another loss after tonight's game, but this team doesn't exactly follow the laws of physics. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be working my way through the Canucks roster giving a review for each player. Next up is Chris Higgins.

When you take a look at GM Mike Gillis’ boldest acquisitions as manager of the Canucks, names like Ballard, Booth and Sundin come to mind. Out of those three guys, Mats Sundin is the only one who reall...

Game Day: Vancouver Canucks @ Phoenix Coyotes

The Vancouver Canucks and Phoenix Coyotes come from similar situations in both the Northwest and Pacific divisions, where even if wins do come on a regular basis, it's pretty hard to tell.  Despite having won four of their last six games, Phoenix sits seventh in the Western Conference and second-to-last in their own division, whereas the Stanley Cup finalists have won five of seven and aren't even in the playoffs as they sit in 11th spot, 3rd in the Northwest.

Last season these two teams split the series, each grabbing two wins in their opponent's rink (Phoenix won 3-1 and 3-2 at Rogers Arena, while Vancouver took the games at Jobing.com Arena by scores of 4-3 ...
