Blue Jackets Down, Battle of Alberta Next

With a convincing victory last night against the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Edmonton Oilers continue to clime the Western Conference standings. 

With 29 points, the Oilers are tied for the 8th spot in the conference and tied for 2nd in the division.  Despite the recent injuries, the Oilers have kept pace to compete for a playoff spot.  Breaking a mini 3 game losing streak was important, despite the opposition.

To say the Columbus Blue Jackets have had a rough season is an understatement.  The Blue Jackets have been riding a hot goalie in Curtis Sanford.  The Oilers have the best home power play and they proved why early in the game.  Jordan E...

Thankfully You're a Sharks Fan

As Sharks fans, we all have a lot to be thankful for. I mean, we could be Islanders or Blue Jackets fans, so already we're pretty happy. And Sharks fans are lucky to be treated to a quality on ice performance night after night, plus a management that is committed to winning and has shown it. As an organization, the Sharks themselves have much to be thankful for as well: 1. Captain Joe Thornton -  Personally, i wouldn't want anybody else captaining the Sharks. Thornton has shown that he wants nothing more than to win, and to win in San Jose.
