Detroit Red Wings have somewhat of a comeback from their last game against the Blues on Saturday night. Safe to call it a victory? We think so. The Wings started strong. The first period gave a surge of energy to Red Wings fans everywhere. "We have our Wings back" was a common theme across social networking sites tonight. However, the Wings seemed to have a battle ahead. The game ended in a tie, sending the Wings to overtime and a shootout.

The lowly Jackets did not look so “lowly” last night in the game they faced against the Detroit Red Wings at 7:30PM. The Wings were not able to capitalize the way they did in the game against the Jackets on Monday, March 26th when the Wings won 7 to 2. The final score won't please you that way, I promise. Unless you are a Columbus fan of course.

Blackhawks romp to a 6-1 win over Blue Jackets to end road trip

After a solid win in New York, the most important thing the Blackhawks had to do in this afternoon's contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets was play a solid game and win. Thankfully, they did both, romping to a 6-1 blowout in a mostly-solid game.

It wasn't a perfect start, although the Blackhawks didn't look like a team that was playing its final game of a 9-game road stretch.
