The 2010 National Hockey League Entry draft will argubaly be regarded as one of the best in NHL history. Good news if you are a Florida Panthers fan, because with three solid first round picks the Panthers for the first time in a long while seem to be taking great strides in a positive direction. But, the question is, "How much can a team which finished 14th overall in the Eastern Conference and 28th over all in the NHL improve?" Big Changes in Florida?

According to the Miami Herald, there might be big changes to come out of Florida, and they might happen sooner than most of us would have expected. The website's Panthers blog, On Frozen Pond, is reporting that GM Randy Sexton could enter a "retooling" phase to help the team improve. "We need to make more moves, need to be better. We're working on a variety of things, said Sexton during tonight's 3-0 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. "Whether we're buyers or sellers, we have to retool this team.'' Update from Prax: Vote in our new poll: Dumbass of the night: Ovechkin, Jackman, or Ballard? Hopefully Vokoun will be ok. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ballard suspended for such reckless actions. I believe anyone who smashes their stick in the net should receive an unsportsmanlike penalty. I know it's a freak accident, but this shouldn't be possible. I mean, it did look like a soft goal, but that is no way to treat your goaltender. Just think of the physical state that Vesa Toskala would be in right now.
