Canadiens Invite 27 to Training Camp

With the NHL and NHLPA officially ratifying the new Collective Bargaining Agreement late Saturday night, all eyes have now shifted towards the opening day of training camp. Coaches will get to step on the ice with their players and evaluate their squad for the first time this season, and for the Montreal Canadiens, the players will get to formally meet their new Head Coach Michel Therrien.

Canadiens Well Represented at World Juniors

With the 2012 World Junior Championships just around the corner, Canadiens fans can take great pride in knowing that three prospects of the team will suit up for Team Canada when the tournament opens on December 26th in Alberta. Forwards Brendan Gallagher and Michael Bournival will play for Canada, along with this years first round draft pick Nathan Beaulieu.

Habs Make First Round of Cuts; Who's Still Here?

 

It's been an eventful training camp for the Montreal Canadiens thanks to, among other reasons, yesterday's Chris Campoli signing. Some players have impressed, some have surprised us, while others have left Jacques Martin and his coaching staff unexcited, and that of course means cuts.
