To see Jarome Iginla traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins should not come to a surprise to anyone, he deserves to win a Cup and as sad as it is to say, he was not going to win it as a Flame.

To be honest, this trade is long over-due, something that should have happened last year, if not earlier.

The Flames head back to the Staples Center tonight to conclude their back-to-back and season series against the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings have had the Flames number this season, routing them 6-2 on Saturday night and 3-1 on February 20th in Calgary, and will go for season sweep tonight.

The Flames added some offensive punch by signing Jiri Hudler to a 4 year deal worth $16 million.

Just three days earlier Feaster signed Dennis Wideman to a big contract.

It doesn't look like Feaster is done yet either.

Not many, if any, predicted Mark Jankowski would be the newest Flames prospect but after trading down from 14 to 21 in Friday nights first round, Jay Feaster and co. had their mind set and made the pick, going off the board. It was a bold move, one that has many wondering if it was best for the Flames organization.
