Though I write about the Canucks, I could not get enough of this story. Former Canadiens goaltender and NHL Hall of famer, Patrick Roy, has told reporters that if any proposals came up for a coaching job, he would listen to the offers.  Brian Raiger takes a look at a few teams where the great #33 could possibly go, and could make a positive impact.

The Vancouver Canucks have only played 11 games this year so far and fans are already giving the team a bunch of flack. Are the 'Nucks still the "team to beat" this year? How much longer will fans put up with the mediocre hockey they have been seeing? Is Roberto Luongo on his way out of Van City this year? Will Vancouver be a legit playoff contender? And the Montreal Canadiens are on the verge of winning the Stanley Cup…again.  Yes, we all have been taught not to start a sentence with “and” but this week has just seems like one big long game.  If you could go back to Wednesday morning and ask anyone if the Habs would be on the verge of winning three in a row come Saturday you would get some laughs, some snickers and the occasional French swear word. 

It’s Saturday and believe it or not the Habs do have a chance to win three in a row beating both the hated Bruins and Flyers.  As we bask in the glow of a glorious week...
