Blackhawks begin annual Western road trip; plans for "NHL Revealed" announced

The Blackhawks (14-3-4) kick off their annual two-week "circus trip" today as they head out on a road trip that will take them to all four Canadian Western conference teams. They will also visit Colorado, Phoenix, and Dallas instead of their usual Thanksgiving weekend swing through California.

First up on the trip is Tuesday night's match at the Colorado Avalanche. The Avs held one of the top spots in the West for most of the early season, but have since lost their past three games and are now 14-5-0 with 28 points, which puts them 4th in the Central, and 2nd in the Western wild card race.

Roy's Next Move

Though I write about the Canucks, I could not get enough of this story. Former Canadiens goaltender and NHL Hall of famer, Patrick Roy, has told reporters that if any proposals came up for a coaching job, he would listen to the offers.  Brian Raiger takes a look at a few teams where the great #33 could possibly go, and could make a positive impact.

Les Habitants have always spelled Canadiens with an ‘E’ , so maybe that should give some the idea that the team itself doesn’t represent all of Canada. For now, the team represents all of Quebec, whether it be English or French, Catholic or Jewish.  I say for now, because even the most die hard fan of the Habs cannot wait for the return of the Quebec Nordiques.

So understanding that the Montreal Canadiens are as ...

Greatest Comeback of All-Time!

One of the most enjoyable facts surrounding sports is that there will always be a new debate.  The fun part about these debates is that they have no parameters and at the end of the day, maybe there isn’t a right answer.  Who is the better boxer, Ali or Pacquiao?  If LeBron James and Michael Jordan were in the dunk contest, who would win?  If the great Wayne Gretzky played for the Edmonton Oilers, would they be any better?

Wouldn’t it be amazing if we actually knew all of the answers?  I would pay big money to watch Ali step into the ring versus Pacquiao.  I would definitely buy...
