So it's been quite a year right? 

Trades, injuries, frustration.... it's had it all. This season has been up and down on several levels.

Islanders Finalize Opening Night Roster

September has passed, which means training camp is over. October has just begun, which means hockey season is back. Today, the Islanders announced their final roster, narrowing it down to a total of 23.

Islanders prospect Kirill Kabanov was sent back to the QMJHL today after his very strong solid preseason, impressing many members of the Islanders organization.
