Some Preds not rising to the Occasion

 

Nashville Predators are known around their league for their drafting and being able to get the most out of their players in the line-up. While this year has shown both of those with Preds rookies coming in and playing above their heads, there have been some both rookies and non-rookies who haven’t played they way they should.

Every year, it seems as if someone different steps up for the Nashville Predators, in order to help push them into the postseason. Two years ago, it was Patric Hornqvist’s impressive 30-goal campaign in his first full NHL season that helped carry the team. It happened again just this past season when Sergei Kostitsyn came to the team from the Montreal Canadiens and went on to lead the Preds in scoring.
