Ragin' Stajan: Flames sink Sharks in OT

Matt Stajan provided the heroics for the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night potting the game winner 4:20 into the extra frame.

It was the 4th win in a row for the Flames who now sit in a tie for 8th with three other teams.

Game Preview: Flames vs Winnipeg Jets

Tonight features the first match-up since Mar. 31, 1996 between the Flames and the Winnipeg Jets. Both teams are in fierce playoff battles in their respective conferences and need every point they can get down the stretch. The Flames haven’t played since Tuesday and better have enjoyed the two days off as the rest of the month is crazy busy with 13 games in the next 23 days. The Jets on the other hand will finish off a back-to-back tonight as they went down in defeat, 3-2 to the Canucks last night in Vancouver.

Flames Call on Sven Baertschi

The Flames have re-called Sven Baertschi from the WHL's Portland Winterhawks.

A move fans have been eagerly waiting for since the Flames drafted him back in 2011.
