Photo courtesy Zimbio Your Team Canada has been unveiled, check inside for the full roster. The day that millions of Canadian's have been waiting for has arrived. Steve Yzerman, Executive Director for Team Canada, and the rest of Hockey Canada will finally answer the question that has been burning within hockey fans since 2006. That is, who will represent Canada and wear the Maple Leaf in Vancouver next February at the 2010 Winter Olympics. We had a decent first night, going 2-1. I Did not expect Elliot to get the shutout. With things really shaky in Philadelphia, it's hard to predict which Flyers team will take the ice in any given game. Without further ado, here are tonight's picks: Panthers @ Devils - Under 5.5 The Devils are averaging 5.10 combined goals per game, while the Panthers are averaging 6.06 combined goals per game.(but the Brodeur factor will bring the odds of this happening way down) These two team's combined average is 5.60 goals per game.(But like I said, have faith in Brodeur) Brodeur has a GAA of 2.11 this season and has only been scored on twice in the Devil's last two games. Woke up earlier than usual this morning to pick up NHL 10 at Microplay. I turned in NHL 09 to get a rebate and got a nice 1,50$ off... Hey at least I got rid of my old and now useless copy right? After some practice mode and 3 online ranked games, I'm sorta pissed at EA. First of all one of the big problems with the online gameplay since NHL 07 had been the terrible online defensive AI and it breaks my heart to say that it's still very much a problem in this year's game. In 3 games (I'm 1-1-1 now), I got scored on at least 4 times because of my AI defenseman staring at the ice like a retard instead of playing the loose puck. There's one goal where Markov (I was MTL) literally stood...

Well it's finally here! Prax and I had the idea to start our own hockey site a while back but couldn't get it done until now. The timing is good since training camp is right around the corner. As the BETA sign suggests, the site is still very much a work in progress and a lot of features we want haven't been implemented yet (but will be in the near future). Let the fun begin!
