Hawks preparing for the Boston Bruins

It seems really odd to type that both the Boston Bruins and the Chicago Blackhawks are coming into this game struggling. Boston is struggling a bit more and on the offensive side of the puck as they are currently ranked 22nd in the league and have had a hard time finding the back of nets.  Now with David Krejci out this will not help the Bruins scoring cause.

The Hawks in the meantime have had their own issues, with too many turnovers in their own end and lack of net front presence and production from their bottom lines to balance a scoring attack. Captain Jonathan Toews in his post game presser called his team out for lack of emotions and being unprepared. It will be interesti...

Players need to step up heading into game against Bruins

The last time the Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins met, it was in the midst of a seven-game winning streak for the Flyers.

But unfortunately for the orange and black-clad team, that streak came to an abrupt end when they hosted the Stanley Cup champion Bruins.

Visiting teams were always in awe of the ear piercing decible levels that were cultivated from the heart of the city; a fanbase who fed that heartbeat with a blood filled with everything hockey, everything Jets.

Fast forward 15 years and Winnipeg has found itself, once again, at the top of the list when it comes to deafening NHL arenas.

It all began on September 20t...

Jets Defeat Defending Champs; Down Bruins 2-1

The Winnipeg Jets are now a game above .500, and evened up the season series with the Boston Bruins as they downed the bears in a hard fought and entertaining 2-1 win on Tuesday night.

Once the puck dropped, the game took on a physical tone that sustained itself throughout the entire game. Winnipeg would be the first to catch a bad look from the ref on the phyiscal play as Jim Slater took a slashing call for breaking the stick of Dennis Seidenberg. Although the Bruins powerplay was very strong, they only managed to muster up one shot with the extra man.

The back and forth game continued as the two teams exchanged chances for a majority of the...
