Now they're saying it could be an MMO. I don't know if I would be too happy with that.

I'll be watching the hockey game. But typically my Thursdays involve Grey's Anatomy, and then watching the later airing of The Office.

I'm sincerely hoping Grey's anatomy is because of the fiancée Tongue

I'm not too keen on the title, sounds like a porno... would have preferred "The Dark Knight Returns" but I can understand if Nolan wanted to stay away from the comic as well as the obvious comparison to "Batman Returns".

Also not surprised that Riddler isn't the villain but I think Nolan would have done a great job of him. From what I understand it will be one female and one male villain (female will also likely be a love interest). Hope they stay away from Catwoman and Poison Ivy, but Talia Al Ghul would be pretty cool if they tie it in with Batman Begins. I've heard Tom Hardy will be playing the male villain, and I really have no idea who he would be cast as, but he's a good actor.

I'll be first in line to see this though, that's for sure.

Look forward to seeing this one. It sucks the Riddle won't be a part of it as I was excited in reading rumours of Joseph Gordon-Levitt getting the role and after his performance in Inception, that would have been awesome. Mr. Freeze was also denied from the movie, so it's at least great to see Nolan pursuing villains that have not necessarily been covered in the previous film installments in the 90s. I guess they are going with another Inception star of Tom Hardy, which could be decent. Suggestions have him playing Det. Harvey Bullock.

Worst title ever

Quote:

Ever since the news broke that Tom Hardy had been cast in The Dark Knight Rises people have wondered what role he would play. Fans across the internet have come up with a lot of ideas, from a Gotham cop, to the main villain. The following information is a rumor, and should be treated as such.

I’ve heard that Tom Hardy is in fact going to play the villain. My source strongly believes that Hardy is going to be playing Hugo Strange. This is the first bit of information from this person that I’m publishing, however they have been accurate in the past. For example, this person told me weeks before the recent Christoper Nolan interview that The Riddler would not be appearing in the film. They also mentioned that Rachel Weisz and Anne Hathaway were in the running for the lead female role a couple of weeks before Deadline posted their list. Given their track record so far, I wanted to post this Hardy news that I received via email. Again, this should just be taken as rumor. I’m posting this for the sake of discussion since we’ve hit a dry spell with The Dark Knight Rises news. What do you guys think? Would you like to see Hugo Strange as the villain?

I'm down with that.

That would be pretty cool. He was great in Inception and I can see the connection.

I think Avatar 2 will actually be huge only for the fact that it's called Avatar 2. Much along the lines of Spiderman 3, which, despite it's horrible acting, was a huge movie just because it's Spiderman and Venom was finally in a film. Avatar will rape the box office simply from people loving the first one. More 3D technology coming with crazy blue people.
