Kings Acquire Mike Richards for Simmonds and SchennA real shocker that the Flyers would trade their Captain and the next "Bobby Clarke". What would cause the Flyers to make such a move, is it Salary cap related, tensions between players and coach. The other Philly players were shocked at the deal. As a lifelong Kings fan, I kind of like the deal, they get a young offensive minded forward, just in case Kopitar or Williams don't fully recover from their injuries. I will miss the gritty play of Wayne Simmonds and Schenn may become a "coulda, woulda, shoulda" in the future. My only question, Who will be the King's Captain? Dustin Brown or Mike Richards or will they be Co-Captains? #Hockey

Boogaard's passingIt was reported today that Ranger Derek Boogaard has passed away. He was found in his apartment. Our condolences to his friends and family. It is a sad day in the NHL when a young man so active in his communitty passes. RIP Boogaard. #Hockey
