I dunno, Adam. Do you think Voracek and Giroux on the same line would reduce total shots on that line? Unless it worked conversely and encouraged one or the other to shoot more? Would be interesting to see.

I'd like to see Voracek pick it up too. He's shown flashes but has been making some bad plays in the defensive zone, IMO

Absolutely! He has been creating chances on the 4th line with Talbo and Shelley... going back with possibly read/voracek/jvr/simmonds will be huge for him. I look for tonight (assuming the rumor of him staying is true) to be a huge game for him. From time to time we saw him on the ice with more skilled players and he made things happen. The big thing for Couturier is to have someone else enter the zone first... he is deadly when the other team is pinned in their own zone. If they can do this regularly with him on the line, he can play along the boards and he knows how to get to open ice as well.
Surprisingly.. I haven't been impressed with Schenn so far anyway...

No question. I've like Schenn's physicality on the forecheck, but I think Couturier has also earned playing with better linemates than Talbot and Shelley. Go get 'em, kid.

It's hard to tell. He's disappeared after showing some spark. I'll give him 10 more games before I can really give a fair assessment.

He's a smart player. A lot of the impressive things that he does are off the puck. I think the Flyers in general need to figure how to use a lot of their players. Voracek is included in that.

Hrmmm straying away from my Couturier pick, I will go with Voracek. He is just missing something to become a huge star in this league. Maybe it's chemistry, who knows, but he looks great both defensively and offensively.

Simmonds no doubt, Voracek has been quiet but doing his job. Jagr is playing good but liked the pre-season Jagr more.

I enjoyed Giroux's convo w/Boyle after Rupp's Jagr-mock
Anything Giroux said was awesome. I also loved the ending quote about not telling a hockey player that it is just a game. That was one of the best hockey quotes I ever heard.
Does anyone know where I could watch the series online? It was televised over here but I am not subsribed to the channel.

I absolutely loved the last three minutes or so of the finale, with the quote about hockey players. Also, the last few minutes of Episode 2 where Giroux was skating as M83 played in the background. Killer.
