Here's another one who needs his head checked before being allowed entrance into an NHL Arena... if I were the league I'd throw him out for the season. AT LEAST. #Hockey
Another suspension I agree with.... one thing I disagree with, is how announcers handle these things... "Gillies showing you the type of guy he is". That's wrong to me.

What bothers us is that the announcers for the Wild called Nutterbutts hit clean on DiBo and when they replayed it, they only showed Gillies hit. Plus all the hockey experts saying he doesnt belong in the league. Really? Boogard, Grimson, Landon, Godard, Orr(Colton not Bobby) McGrattan, Cooke, ..... just to name a few players that experts need to watch or remember from the past.
I don't think anyone's saying that a lot of those players (to be fair to matt cooke as much as I hate him the guy can actually play hockey) shouldn't be in the league either, but Gillies takes it to a completely other level.
Gillies can`t even score at an ECHL or AHL level, yet alone at the NHL level. If you can't score goals in the frigging minors, you don't belong in the NHL. It's pretty much as simple as that. I heard on the radio that Gillies actually had more penalty minutes than he does minutes played in his NHL career. That's only ever happened ONCE in the history of the NHL apparently. This isn't an NHL player, and as much as you want to defend your team you can't deny that he brings NOTHING to any team other than penalties.
