Bio
I am a TCL writer for my home team, the Detroit Red Wings. The Wings are not just a sport I like to watch, they are my passion. One of the reasons I love writing about the Wings is because I love to talk about the Wings. Writing about the Wings gives me a place to talk about them with other Wing fans.
As a child, I was born into a Red Wings crazed family. I grew up watching my father and brother play ice hockey. I was taught to skate in hockey skates, not figure skates like most girls. I took learning in hockey skates to playing varsity ice hockey in high school. I seemed to take the love my family had for the Wings to a new level and have made it one of my biggest passions.
I have always enjoyed writing, even when I was just a kid. I am honored to write for The Checking Line. This endeavor will teach me valuable things. I am excited to share my thoughts about the Wings and hear others thoughts!
